The Beau Monde, a recognized chapter of Romance Writers of America, asked MQStudio to design and develop a template for its web site.
At the time, the members of The Beau Monde felt like the existing site was not consistent with the elegance of their writing genre, Regency-set Romance.
Design Goals
The design should look classic, well organized, elegant, and evocative of the Regency period.
Clean code in compliance with web standards was also a key requirement.
Our Solution
Font selection, ornamental shapes, and elongated forms help achieve an elegant, clean look consistent with the Regency style.
Content and presentation are separated in the CSS-based templates delivered.
