Vote Valley Ranch Postcard Design
MQStudio designed this postcard for the 2004 Get Out the Vote Committee of the Valley Ranch Homeowners Association.
Although Valley Ranch has a significant proportion of the City's population, voter turnout has historically been low, so this postcard was to be sent as a reminder to vote in the upcoming election.
Design Goals
No specific guidelines were given other than the Committee's witty tagline for the campaign, "Wake the Sleeping Giant".
Also, we were asked to design with minimal use of color to keep printing costs low.
Our Solution
Our design uses Valley Ranch's logo to personify the tagline, and a clean distribution of content to make the card easy to scan and read. We hope the design made this piece attractive enough to escape the immediate destiny of most unsolicited mail.
